Lorena Savani is Thematic Area Director for Biotechnology and Proteins at EIT Food and has more than 20 years of international experience across the food, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), and quick-service restaurant (QSR) sectors. She has led high-impact innovation strategies, public–private collaborations, and food technology initiatives across Europe and at the global level.
At EIT Food, she focuses on building collaborative ecosystems that foster investment, help bridge the so-called "valley of death" in biotechnology innovation, and create tangible value for farmers, entrepreneurs, industry, and consumers.
