Fermented products, microbial proteins and fats, microalgae, probiotics and microbiota: new developments based on advanced bioprocesses.

Production of biomolecules (dairy, meat, fish/poultry) and the development of biofactories with the potential for industrial-scale production.
Cell culture and molecular farming
The new approach to producing proteins and biomolecules in plant systems, as well as biofortifying crops to improve the nutritional quality of food right from the source.
