Ana Torrejón is Head of Industrial Biotechnology at AINIA, one of Spain’s leading technology centres specialising in innovation for the food and beverage, chemical, cosmetics, pharmaceutical, and packaging industries, with a strong presence both nationally and internationally.
With over fifteen years of experience, she has led and managed projects involving the scale-up and optimization of bioprocesses, the development of biofertilizers and biostimulants, and the production of biopolymers (PHB) and other high-value compounds obtained from microorganisms.
