Alex Holst is a Policy Officer at The Good Food Institute Europe, where he leads engagement with European institutions and key stakeholders to advance the development of sustainable proteins across Europe. He works closely with companies, scientists, NGOs, and policymakers
to promote solutions such as plant-based foods, fermentation, and cultivated meat, with the aim of building a more sustainable, secure, and resilient food system. He has extensive experience in European policy, climate change, and international cooperation.
